Technologies
At LDL, we believe that the content should drive the technology, not the other way round. We are able to work with a wide range of technologies to ensure we provide the best solution suited to your needs.
In order to define what technology is appropriate for a project, we start by focusing on the end product required. Once we understand exactly what you need, and also what requirements you might have in the future, we will then recommend how we think the project should be approached. Of course this doesn't mean we're not happy to work with the technology you prefer.
Development technologies
We spend a lot of time using many different development technologies, but these are a few we use on a very regular basis.
- Adobe Flash
- Adobe Flex
- Java
- C++
- HTML / CSS / Javascript
- PHP
- ASP.NET
Advanced Flash Application Development Tools
We do a lot of Flash based work, including the creation of some fairly complex wrappers and toolsets, and sometimes Flash doesn't provide us with the power and flexibility we require. In those cases we will often use some of the following tools:
- Adobe AIR
- Multidmedia Zinc
- ScreenTime mProjector
Design applications
For every project we work on, whether it's a design-based project, or a complex application, we will always ensure what we produce looks good. We use industry standard design applications such as:
- Adobe Illustrator
- Adobe Photoshop
- Adobe Flash
At the heart of all of these technologies, there are standards set in place to follow. With our many years of experience, we have worked with a wide range of these, and as such, you can rely on us to deliver a conformant product. If you have specific requirements for meeting standards such as accessibility, metadata or technical standards, we will discuss this with you at an early stage of any project.
